Today I’m going to share something of my own. This is a video my husband took of a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy we had for a while named Boo. She was a funny dog, very tall, snuggly and sweet and great with the kids, but man did she chew and get into things when you weren’t watching her. Anyway, we may never have hit her, but she was very responsive to our angry voices – especially my husband’s. This is what would happen if we went into our bedroom and she was doing something wrong…

You can’t tell from the video very well, but Boo was about 25″ at her shoulder and that bed was only 8.5″ from floor to the bottom. She’d been doing that since she was much smaller, so somehow she found a way to fit as she grew, I guess!
Does your dog do anything funny when you use the “upset” voice with them? I know my German Shepherd puts himself in “time out” by laying in the corner of the laundry room and looking at me with those sad eyes. Comment and tell me about yours!
